WELCOME!

However you found out about Lakeside, we are thrilled you're here and taking some time to learn a little more about our church. We worship together every Sunday morning at 10:30, and we currently gather in the gym of Cornelius Elementary School. We sincerely hope you will join us someday soon!

WHAT'S A SERVICE LIKE?
WHAT'S A SERVICE LIKE?

The Bible is at the very heart of everything we do in our worship gatherings. We sing the Word, pray the Word, and preach the Word.

Sermons are expositional, meaning they work through the text of Scripture to help us understand and apply what God has said.

Sunday gatherings typically last about 90 minutes, and we love for the entire family to be involved!

HOW CAN I STAY UP-TO-DATE?

The very best way to always know what's going on with Lakeside Bible Church is to use the free Church Center app. Through Church Center you can sign up for events, take a look at upcoming events, connect with a small group, listen to sermons, and more!

STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?

How early should I arrive?

The Sunday worship service begins promptly at 10:30am, but it’s always best to arrive about 10-15 minutes beforehand. That will give you plenty of time to meet a few people and get settled in. Of course, you are welcome to come earlier to grab a cup of coffee and socialize!

How should I dress?

There’s no dress code at our gatherings, and you are welcome to dress however you are most comfortable. You will find a mix of casual and formal attire among our regular attenders, so no matter what you wear, you won’t feel out of place.

What's available for my kids?

We believe that worship is a family event, and we invite all children to participate in the worship service. So, everyone stays together for the first half of the service.

Most Sundays, our Lakeside Kids class gathers in a separate classroom for the second half of the service. Children 4 years old through 5th grade have a Bible lesson using the Biggest Story curriculum. There’s also a toddler section for walkers who are 1 to 3 years old.

You can register your children for the day’s class in the lobby when you arrive. Take them with you to service, and they will be dismissed with their teacher before the main sermon.

On days when the class is not offered (5th Sundays and special services), we provide a kids’ table where you will find coloring sheets, crayons, and other items that may help your child during the service. The toddler section is still available these days for parents who need to slip out of the service with their kids.

How often do you observe the Lord's Supper?

We observe The Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of every month. We also observe it during other special services throughout the year.

What if I am not a Christian?

Everyone is welcome and invited to attend our worship services. All of us were unbelievers at some point, and we understand what it’s like to be curious about and searching for spiritual truth. We would love to talk more about your beliefs and answer any questions you have about ours.

What's the music like?

We care passionately about congregational singing. Not only is it a vital part of corporate worship, but it is also a means by which we can encourage and teach one another. The songs we sing are filled with biblical truth and are arranged in a way that is easy for everyone to sing. Subscribe to our playlist on Spotify to listen to songs we are currently singing.

I have a question that's not listed here.
